Get Solace. Get Clarity. Get Going.

Why Choose Spring Tide Coaching?

While financial planning tools abound, the most important aspects of the second half of life—finding purpose, fostering meaningful relationships, and exploring new interests—are often overlooked. Many individuals struggle as they transition into this new phase, unsure how to navigate the changes ahead.

Unlike self-help books, podcasts, or workshops that offer one-size-fits-all advice, coaching provides a personalized, deeper approach. A coach partners with you in a tailored, creative process designed to inspire growth and guide you toward a fulfilling, purpose-driven life.

Empowering individuals in the second half of life to craft meaningful, purpose-driven lives that align with their core values, providing guidance and support every step of the way.

Origins

Inspired by Arthur Brooks’ book, Strength to Strength: Finding Success, Happiness, and Deep Purpose in the Second Half of Life, I have transitioned into retirement to fully focus on what matters most to me—helping others navigate their own transitions into retirement.

Supporting individuals through this life phase has become my purpose. Throughout my career, I’ve always considered what brings meaning into my life but didn’t always have the time and energy to fully explore it. Now, I can channel my experience into guiding others, leveraging over 20 years of mentoring and coaching in both the corporate world and the open water swimming community.

Both experiences have taught me valuable lessons that I now bring to retirement coaching.

Whether it's diving into uncharted waters or wrestling with discomfort, these challenges echo the transition into retirement. However, the rewards—like new learning, deeper connections, and personal growth—make the journey worthwhile.

Helping others embark on their own fulfilling second half of life is incredibly gratifying. While I don’t have all the answers, I am deeply committed to guiding individuals as they apply their talents, embrace new opportunities, and enrich both their lives and the lives of those around them.
